CWA/AT&T 2017 “Orange” Contract Bargaining
March 4, 2017 – Bargaining Report #22
Bargaining resumed today and, for the first time in a while, there was some meaningful dialogue. While we remain extremely far apart, the tone was a little different today. The Union passed more title upgrade language and had extensive discussions around the Company asking people to do more work without adding to their compensation or upgrading their titles.
The Company gave counter proposals on Union-Company Relationship and Force Adjustment. While neither proposal is what we are looking for, the language was starting to move in the right direction. We also broke off into a small off the record group to discuss some issues affecting the network and supply groups. Hopefully today will set a trend of increased dialogue, however, we need all members to stay mobilized and keep up the fight!!
Stay strong Sisters and Brothers!!
