Bargaining begins Tuesday March 6, 2018:
Whether it’s holding informational pickets, wearing red (or black), everyone should be doing something that will show our support for our bargaining committee and sending a message to AT&T that we are united together.
Staying Informed:
All through negotiations, we will have regular bargaining reports that will be posted on our website: https://district4.cwa-union.org Information will also be communicated via email blasts, text messages and on a new Facebook page created for bargaining.
To receive text messages, text the word Midwest to 69866.
To join our closed group Facebook page, send a request to: http://cwa-union.org/attmidwestfacebook
Strike Vote and Strike Preparation:
A strike vote will be taken at a later date prior to the expiration of the contract.
You should also begin planning picket schedules for your work locations in the event that a strike is called by CWA President Chris Shelton.
Members Relief Fund training will be conducted in late March/early April.
Each round of negotiations have been difficult, but this one may be by far the worst. If we are to be successful, we must all be prepared to do what it takes to show AT&T that we are unified and supportive of our elected bargaining committee. We can do that best at the work locations with strong member involvement.
