As we have been telling you since the beginning of bargaining, the company is refusing to provide all the information the union has requested. It is impossible to formulate certain proposals with missing information. The Union has filed an Unfair Labor Practice with the National Labor Relations Board to force AT&T to give us the information. Without all of the requested information, bargaining is being delayed and we will not allow the company to continue stalling.
We passed a counter proposal today on employee access to personal records and how the company notifies the Union about discipline. We also had discussions on network safety issues including flammable materials in company provided shirts, and the company adding duties to Call Center jobs. We remain far apart even though minor progress has been made on some issues. Mobilization is more important than ever because we need to keep pressure on the company. Keep up the great work and together we will win!
