Dear Brothers and Sisters,
On Monday November 9th, 2020 we lost a Union Brother. Austin Grady was beginning a routine appointment for physical therapy related to a knee surgery he had undergone a couple months prior. During the visit he collapsed and very sadly died.
Austin was 39; he and his wife Darcy had recently celebrated the birth of their first child, Olivia.
Austin was an active Union member in the Anderson Indiana work location. He was employed by AT&T as a Premises Technician for the last 14 years. He was well respected by his peers and he always provided his full, and valued, opinion during conversations about work and its daily on goings. His activities during contract mobilization were energizing and entertaining!
This sudden loss is devastating to his Union Brothers and Sisters, but more so to his wife Darcy and their baby Olivia.
