CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #29

April 9, 2018

Fighting Today…Focused on the Future!

The committee continued to work throughout the day on proposals for Benefits, Article 26, Appendices F and G, and a multitude of other contract articles that are still not agreed upon. In today’s sub-committee meeting, the company STILL had not responded to the Union’s proposals around employment enhancement and ways to increase jobs in District 4.

The CWA membership and this committee have made it clear that we must have a partner in AT&T to create sustainable jobs. The company must come back to this bargaining team with a willingness to accept our proposals or to work on an acceptable agreement between the parties that will secure employment for our members!

The Bargaining team also wants to thank all the members, officers and activists that put together and participated in the “What is Your 2020 Vision at AT&T?” video that is posted on the CWA Bargaining @ ATT Midwest Facebook page. It is an inspiring take on what it will take to get a fair contract in this round of negotiations and how we have jobs of the future covered under our agreement.

Keep up the Mobilization in the field! We need to show AT$T that CWA members are committed to reaching a fair contract this week!

We are looking forward to joining you on the AT$T Midwest and Legacy T Bargaining Town Hall call tomorrow at 7 p.m. Eastern.

In Solidarity,

Your CWA District 4 Bargaining Team

Curt Hess, Tina Culver, Dan Frazier, Kim Gallardo, Tim Strong, Greg Tennyson, Jay Walther, Ron Gay, Mike Handley
