CWA/ATT Midwest Bargaining Report #35

CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #35 (10:30pm EDT)

April 14, 2018

Fighting Today…Focused on the Future!

The Company finally presented the Union with a series of proposals this evening.

It was not a whole lot of progress for a company that says they would like to reach an agreement. Thus far, the Company has rejected moving Appendix F to the main agreement, rejected nearly all improvements that have been proposed by the Union, and still have items they want to delete from existing Appendix F language. This is not how we get to an agreement.

There were also a number of other inadequate proposals on Benefits, Net Credited Service and Seniority, and Job Classifications and Promotions, from the Company.

The Union passed proposals for improvements on Contracting, Monitoring, Guaranteed Time Off and the Extended Employment Opportunity Period.

We are actively trying to reach a fair agreement. AT&T needs to get serious very quickly and remove all the takebacks from the table and address the issues that our members have identified!

There are under three hours left to expiration……

In Solidarity,
