Fighting Today…Focused on the Future!
Today the Union committee rejected the Company’s fourth package proposal, in totality, which was presented to the Union yesterday.
We continued work on crafting improvements to Monitoring, Article 26, and the Appendices. The Union Committee then met with the Company this afternoon and passed proposals that reflect these improvements.
This evening, the committee continued to discuss internally the numerous outstanding issues that remain.
This committee (and the Company bargainers) had the opportunity to see and feel your support shown through the participants at the rally held here on Saturday. We think every manager should also have an opportunity to see and feel that support through your mobilization at workplaces everywhere across the District! Let’s show them just who the Union is!
