I have fielded an number of questions this week regarding the current preference for premise technician schedules. The usual length for schedules is 8 weeks. The current preference is for 10 weeks. The reasoning for the 10 week bid was to ensure that there was a full and valid schedule period that incorporated the holidays so the company could release holiday week preferencing in a timely fashion and that our members had some sort of certainty around their overall holiday work days.
The usual schedule period will remain an 8 week preference.
